A Barrister of England & Wales by qualification, Paul Bevan has a truly international profile. He has worked and led teams in Switzerland, Germany, France, Spain, Brazil and Argentina. 

Throughout Paul’s diversified career he has developed a strong track record of creating value-driven solutions in complex cross-border situations.

Paul began his career in cargo claims in Hamburg, Germany, negotiating and settling numerous maritime, land and air transport claims for five years. 

From there, he moved to Geneva, Switzerland, where he worked as Capital Markets Officer in a major global bank – and successfully attended a Finance MBA Programme for Investment Banks run by New York University. 

Paul subsequently joined a global market leader in the packaging industry in Lausanne, Switzerland, as Company and Tax lawyer, covering the firm’s international holding and tax structures. 

Paul’s legal and financial experience and his thirst for international exposure led him to join one of the market leading food and beverage companies, where he remained until choosing early retirement in 2015 : 

    - 8 years in international taxes; 

    - 10 years in Mergers & Acquisitions, Divestments and Joint Ventures;

    - 2 years as Regional Manager responsible for France, Spain, Portugal, and Belgium;

    - 6 years as a Finance Director - Country CFO in Argentina, then Regional CFO of a major product division for Southern Europe.

 With English as his native language, he is also fluent in Spanish, German, French and Portuguese.
